Lesson Synopsis:

Connect this unit on alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs with the safety unit. Introduce the concept that it’s up to them to address the issue. Identify an essential question students need to answer. Explain the task and assign each group a topic to research. Explain the timeline. Assign a reflection question. Preview the next lesson.
